AUXILIUM BARASAT: In keeping with the tradition of AuxiliumConvent School Barasat, on 21st of January 2014 was observed as a'solidarity day'. The Auxilians visited eight centres to distribute the gifts collected by the students during solidarity week in December. It was a sheer joy to watch the smiling faces of the people who received the gifts. Brickfield, Green Park, Old age home, Badu village, Providence home Bairakpur and Kazipara railway stations were some of the places visited by the students. All the students had enriching experiences and also anoccasion to know the real situation around the school. The different problems faced by the less fortunate people around were an eye opening opportunity to be grateful to God for the blessings. The students thanked the sisters and teachers for giving them the opportunity to spread a smile among people.
